Chocolate Monkey

For a quick alternative for breakfast, or a post-workout beverage, enjoy this creamy smoothie.

2 cups plant-based milk (almond or soy)

2 Medjool dates

1 tablespoon cocoa

1 medium banana

1 tablespoon nut butter (peanut, almond, or cashew)

½ teaspoon instant coffee or coffee substitute (such as Pero or Coffig, etc)

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth. Serve immediately or pour into a bottle to drink as a post-work smoothie.
